OK, guys, I finally did it. I went nuts! I added something to the web site that has nothing to do with golf carts (unless you think buying a golf cart is a gamble). I added a menu item that will lead you to a link that talks about a book that I wrote about a totally different part of my professional career: life as a slot machine technician and manager. Just click on “What Do Slot Machines Have To Do With A Golf Carts” and it will take you to a page that will tell you a little bit about the book. I recently published the book and I have had several people tell me I should mention it on the web site, even though it isn’t directly related to the main thrust of the blog. What the heck? The name of the web site does include the word “hodgepodge”. If there seems to be any interest it the gaming thing, in the future, I will include some excerpts from the book, for everybody to take a look at. There are some pretty funny stories about the life of a slot mechanic, and all of the things that go on behind the scenes in a casino.
