In my last post, I mentioned that I had recently published my book called Electric Golf Cart Repair (101 and a half) in a hardcopy version. I’m happy to say that it has been selling quite a few copies that way and I will admit that it’s a whole bunch easier to spread it out and follow its schematics and diagrams while working on a cart, in that form. I think that I forgot to mention that the book in its hardcopy form is loosely bound with a plastic “comb” type of binding, so it is easy to turn the pages and lay the book out flat without damaging it. I just had someone tell me that they will NEVER buy another technical book in the eBook form because of the “can’t spread it out” issue. I’m sorry it took me so long to realize just how many people won’t buy eBooks because they insist on having that traditional copy in their hands. I guess eBooks just aren’t for EVERYONE. Anyway, thanks to those of you who have given me the input and I’m thinking seriously about making ALL of the books I have published (six of them) in eBook format also available in hardcopy.
