This book was written by Ron Staley and describes Techniques, Tools, Tips, and Tales used and experienced by the author during his life as a golf cart repairman. Ron and his wife, Carol (better known as Becky) owned and operated a shop in Okeechobee, Florida for many years doing business as Hodgepodge Electronics. The book also contains over a hundred illustrations including many wiring diagrams that Ron produced from what he could find available and from his own reverse engineering of the many carts that he has worked on.
Through the years, while working on these critters, Ron came across many situations where having a “special tool” would make the repair or troubleshooting much easier. This book describes some of these carts with “special needs” and what he came up with to accommodate them. Many of these tools can easily be made at home, and the book shows you how to do it.
